Body of 24-Year-Old Christoval Man Found in Pugh Park

Deputies with the Tom Green County’s Sheriff’s Office are conducting a death investigation on the south edge of Christoval after a body was found.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, emergency responders were called to Pugh Park on Toenail Trail, across from the high school, for the report of a deceased male.

Authorities later confirmed the identity of the man as 24-year-old Bryce Dupre of Christoval.

Dupre was reportedly camping at the park and was found unresponsive by friends who called 911.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, but his body was sent off for autopsy to determine a cause of death.
