Dozens of animals were blessed Wednesday evening at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
The community was invited to bring their pets and even livestock to the Blessing of the Animals Service.
The event is held each year in observation of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
The Blessing of the Animals Service has been a tradition at the church for more than 15 years.
