Bird Pavilion Installed Along Red Arroyo Trail

The first of three bird pavilions was installed, Thursday, along San Angelo’s new bicycle and pedestrian trail.

The 15-foot-tall bird cathedral, funded by the Eva Tucker Foundation, sits at the Sul Ross trail head of the Red Arroyo. Throughout the summer, the trail will become home to over 50 pieces and half a million dollars of artwork.

San Angelo’s Art in Uncommon Places says it has taken two years and five committees to make this project a reality.
