Army Returns to Fort Concho for Change of Command Ceremony



GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – The 344th Military Intelligence Battalion will host its change of command at Fort Concho at 9am on October 5. After two years the army detachment at Goodfellow will say farewell to 344th MII commander Lt Col Jason Hallock.

The battalion trains Soldiers in five different Military Occupational Specialties for enlisted, NCO and Warrant Officers, encompassing two different branches of service- Military Intelligence and Engineer. It teaches 21 different courses and has more than 70 classes in session at any given time. It consists of four companies located on three different installations belonging to three different Armed Services. The battalion has more than 300 permanent party members with an annual student throughput of about 1,500 Soldiers.
