SAN ANGELO, TX. — The Sterling City Eagles kicked off District 5-2A Division II play Friday night with a 45-14 victory over Water Valley.
Midway through the second quarter, Sterling City would be up 21-14 but would score 20 unanswered points to collect their first district win of the season.
Sterling City hosts McCamey next week, while Water Valley plays host to Eldorado.
