HIGHLIGHTS: No. 24 Veribest opens district play with win over Sterling City

STERLING CITY — The No. 24 Veribest Lady Falcons handled business Tuesday night with a road win against the Sterling City Lady Eagles 37-23 to open District 11-1A play.

Sophomore Kennadi Wheeless led the way for the Lady Falcons with a game-high 13 points while junior Bella Halfmann added seven points.

Sophomore Paige Keele led all Sterling City scorers with eight points.
