Teen spends night of reckless driving, crashes into home


Around midnight Monday morning, the San Angelo Police were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver in the parking lot of HEB located at 5502 Sherwood Way. The vehicle was reportedly doing donuts in the parking lot, almost colliding with the gas pumps. 

Moments later, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of Hunters Glen Road for a possible structure fire. On arrival, officers located a white 2010 Ford Truck that had driven through the corner bedroom of the home. 

The home was occupied during the collision, but no one was in the room. No injuries were reported. 

Nicholas S. Garza, 18 was arrested for Class A Misdemeanor Deadly Conduct and taken to the Tom Green County Jail.
