The San Angelo police department is searching for a man in relations to a robber of the Stripes convinience store on Sherwood Way and Garfield.
In a press release from SAPD they wrote:
Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are searching for a man who robbed the Stripes convenience store located at Sherwood Way and Garfield around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
The suspect reportedly approached the clerk, demanded money and then fled the store on foot. In addition to the stolen cash, the suspect stole a camouflage baseball cap from the store’s hat display. The incident was captured on surveillance video.
The suspect was described as a thin white or light Hispanic male with light brown eyes. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. The suspect’s face was covered with a white mask or bandana. (See video surveillance footage.)
