Hot and dry once again for the Concho Valley. Yesterday we topped out at 100 degrees making it the 15th time for 2014. Today could very well be number 16, reaching near 101 with mostly sunny skies and light south winds. Going into the evening lows to drop to a more seasonal value in the low to mid 70's thanks to partly cloudy skies. The weekend starting hot as well reaching near 100 for Saturday, but changes are coming. High pressure that has brought us these hot days look to be weakening by Sunday allowing for moisture to bring extra cloud cover and a chance for showers. Cooler temperatures as well dropping highs to the seasonal mid 90's and gradually warming back to the upper 90's with mostly sunny skies for the rest of the week.
