KLST Wed. 10/30/13 Noon Weather

Afternoon weather forecast for Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Just like yesterday it will be a very cloudy afternoon, warm and muggy. Moisture from both the gulf and pacific continue to move through the region as low pressure passes to our north. Saw just a hint of showers last night in San Angelo with a quick storm bringing 0.02" of rain. More showers and a possible thunderstorm could continue today as a cold front gets closer to the Concho Valley. Expect temperatures around the upper 70's to low 80's and winds starting off from the south 15 to 20 miles per hour. Winds start to shift tonight as the front passes through continuing the rain chances. Cooler air behind the front should allow overnight temps to dip to the upper 50's, a good 10+ degrees cooler then we've seen the past few mornings. Halloween will be slightly cooler with mostly sunny skies and breezy winds from the northwest. The 70's stick around for the rest of the work week, making way for a cooler weekend with more seasonal conditions expected. By next work week another round of low pressure could effect the region bringing in more cloud cover and possible chances for showers to start off the month of November.
