After warm and windy afternoon in store for the Concho Valley. Temperatures are expected to be near 85 degrees with sunny skies and breezy winds from the south 15 to 20 miles per hour. Overnight lows will stay warmer in the upper 50's and partly cloudy skies as high pressure brings an influence of moisture from the gulf. Cloud cover will last through the rest of the week as high pressure moves south and east along with low pressure now entering the west coast. The timing of this system and an increase of moisture is causing havoc on the models. For the most part they agree that we'll see an increase of cloud cover with the best chance for showers Saturday night into Sunday, but a second front is trying to make it into the region right behind the first. Depending on the timing we could be seeing another set up of continuous rain. For now saying a 20% chance Saturday, 30% Sunday, and 20% Monday. Temperatures expected to stay in the mid to low 80's, and possibly the upper 70's by Tuesday.
