Warm start to this week sticks around the concho valley before another big change up Thursday. Tonight will stay fairly comfortable in the low 50's with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the southwest 5 to 10 miles per hour. As high pressure moves out of the region low pressure will takes it's place making for a freezing mid week. For Wednesday expect warm temperatures again as winds pick up from the west 10 to 15 miles per hour with highs near 79 degrees and partly sunny skies. Into Thursday low pressure will send an arctic cold front through the region dropping temperatures to below freezing. Overnight lows will dip into the 40's and continue to drop near freezing by the afternoon. Ahead of the front will see a 50% chance for showers making way to possible freezing rain overnight. Another round of potential moisture will move through Thursday night into Friday then again Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening. Icy conditions may make for some dangerous driving conditions, but accumulations are not expected about a quarter of an inch. Over the week another round of cold air will help keep things chilly as we struggle to warm up back to the seasonal norms.
