KLST Tues. 01/07/14 Noon Weather

Afternoon weather forecast for Tuesday, January 7, 2014.

Warmer conditions this afternoon, but not as high as some would hope. The chilly start this morning dampening highs, expected to only reach near 49 degrees. Still expecting sunny skies and breezy winds back from the southwest. Later into the evening expect cloud cover the develop with overnight lows near 34 degrees, if this hold it will be warmer then the daytime high we saw yesterday. Better warmth on Wednesday as we look for seasonal conditions with highs near 60 degrees and mostly sunny skies. This is where we are watching for our next cold front, but it won't do much compared to what we have already seen this week. Temps will still reach the low 60's on Thursday will and increase in cloud cover. The clouds bring with it a chance for showers starting Thursday night into Friday and possible lasting into Saturday morning. Still expecting warmer conditions as temps look to increase near 67 by Friday and back down to 61 for Saturday. Clouds clear out by Sunday and we stay in the 60's with the next front looking for the start of the next work week.
