Much warmer conditions across the region, thanks to the winds. Gusts up to 31 miles per hour have already been seen in San Angelo coming out of the south. Look for these conditions to stick around this afternoon switching to the southwest later today. As the winds stay cloud cover moves in making for partly sunny skies and helping to hamper daytime heating and cap temps to only the mid 70's for today. Low pressure to the west will set up for some extra moisture in the Concho Valley as a cold front stalls across the big country. Overnight the winds will die down but clouds will remain keeping lows in the 50's. By Friday morning we're watching for the potential for some rain and possible thunderstorm. 30% chance with cooler conditions in the upper 60's. Rain chance increase overnight into Saturday coming to an end by early Sunday morning. Rain totals could reach between 1/2 to 1" over those two days. Sunday will be cooler only in the low 50's with mostly sunny skies, but spending the rest of the work week dry and warming up. Look for near 54 degrees on Monday, 60 on Tuesday ((which is near seasonal)) and 61 just in time for Christmas Day.
