KLST Mon. 11/11/13 Noon Weather

Afternoon weather forecast for Veteran's Day, Monday, November 11, 2013.

Extra cloud cover this morning helping to keep temperatures fairly seasonal this morning and seasonal for the afternoon. That along with some recent moisture even allowed for fog to develop across our eastern counties. By this afternoon some of the clouds will move out giving way to partly sunny skies and light winds around 5 mils per hour. Overnight, lows will dip a little farther as a cold front makes it's way towards the Concho Valley. Front is expected to pass in the morning hours keeping our high only at 49 degrees for the day. Showers could also be a possibility along the front, standing right now at a 20% chance. Behind the front much cooler and drier air will make for a freezing morning. Hard freeze could be possible around the region as we dip to the upper 20's. Then on Wednesday high pressure will return to the area giving way to a warmer trend back top the 50's, 60's by Thursday and Friday and 70's by the weekend.
