KLST Mon. 10/28/13 Noon Weather

Afternoon weather forecast for Monday, October 28, 2013.

Looking for another warm start this week. This morning clouds will stick around giving us a muggy start and the possibility for patchy fog. Clouds will start to dissipate this afternoon then build back in as we see an influence of moisture from the gulf. High temperatures will be above average in the low 80's with windy conditions out of the south-southeast 20 to 25 miles per hour with gusts around 35. This is due to a large area of low pressure crossing the west coast and moving toward the midwest. It's also what's allowing for the increase of moisture. Overnight lows will also stay warm only dipping down to the upper 60's with mostly cloudy skies. By Tuesday we'll see a chance for showers at 20% as the low moves east. Rain and thunderstorm chances increase for Wednesday at 50% and slightly cooler but still high in the upper 70's. By Thursday cold front will move through ending the chances for showers with much drier air. Staying seasonal for Halloween near 76 degrees and mostly sunny skies. From there a normal weather pattern is looking to take shape with the upper 70's for Friday and mid to low 70's for the next weekend.
