Rain and thunderstorm chances continue across the Concho Valley today. So far Mathis field has seen 0.60" of rain since early Sunday morning. This looks to be the majority of the rainfall we'll see for the next few days, but the flash flood watch remains in effect till 7:00 this morning for the Concho Valley, except for Reagan county which lasts until 7:00PM tonight. Temperatures are only expected to top out near the upper 70's with breezy winds from the southwest 15 to 20 miles per hour. Going into Tuesday temps will drop to around 64 degrees as rain chance linger. By Tuesday morning a cold front will make it's march through the region capping temps to only the upper 60's. Showers will continue as warm air lifts behind the front. Lows will drop to the 40's as we make our way into Wednesday. By then conditions are expected to slowly dry out, but the gulf moisture is looking to make a comeback, possibly bringing another round of showers for the next weekend.
