Afternoon weather forecast for Monday, January 13, 2014.

Small and week cold front, which we called short wave front, moving through the Concho Valley this morning. Winds switching up to the northwest 10 to 15 miles per hour. compared to the weekend that means a cooler week for the region. Temperatures only expected to reach near 63 degrees with sunny skies. What's happening is low pressure is sitting up across the great lakes and high pressure along the west coast, sending these small front right into the southwest. Several of these little guys will be spotted through the extended forecast keeping us mild in the low to mid 60's. Some amy still call that cool, but it is very near seasonal for this time of year. Overnight lows will drop past the freezing mark as winds calm down and skies stay clear. Near 64 degrees on Tuesday with sunny skies and gusty winds back from the north. Second front scheduled for The evening dipping back to near 62 for Wednesday. 65 on Thursday before the third front passes dipping conditions possibly to the upper 50's for Friday and warming back to the 60's for the next weekend.
