Slightly cool this afternoon, but not the case early this morning as overcastskies brought with a few light showers in the region. Still conditions are expected improve later this afternoon as the cold front pushes through the region. Behind the front is much drier air so look for clouds to decrease to sunny skies and temperatures to warm up into the low 70's. Near west winds will help with the warmer trend getting a little breezy this afternoon then calming down by tonight. The expected forecast looks to stay dry and warm for the weekend. Saturday will be in the upper 60's near 69 and back to near 76 by Sunday. That's when a cold front swings through to bring an end to the warm up, but it's not strong enough to do too much damage. Temperatures will stay above average in the low to mid 60's with sunny skies. Reaching near 65 by Tuesday and 68 for Wednesday before the next front pushes through just in time for Thursday, but still staying warm and dry near 64 degrees.
