Warm start this morning will bring a warm afternoon high. Temperatures will jump up to the upper 70's later today ahead of a cold front expected later this evening. Winds along with the temp will increase getting gusty later today 15 to 20 miles per hour from the northwest. In the grand scale, we're still seeing high pressure to the west and low pressure to the northeast. This will allow northwest flow in the upper atmosphere to continue to keep conditions dry with lack of moisture from the gulf. Keep this in mind later today as fire dangers will become elevated due to the warm conditions and breezy winds. Behind the front temps will drop back to the mid 30's as winds decrease and slowly switch back to the southwest. More seasonal conditions for Tuesday leading to another warmer afternoon on Wednesday. That's where we expecting our next front, this one much stronger then what we've seen in the past. Watching for temperatures to drop Thursday into the 40's with mostly cloudy skies. This may be our best chance for showers this month, but for now holding off on any precipitation. Mid 40's for Friday to end off the work week, and right back up to the 60's for the weekend.
