Wed. 07/31/13 Noon Weather

High pressure becoming the dominate force in the forecast this week and it shows no sign of backing down. Yesterday's high reached 100 degrees in San Angelo and it's only expected to get hotter. For this Wednesday we're looking for a high of 101 with mostly sunny skies and light winds starting from the southwest becoming more east by the afternoon. Overnight lows will dip down into the mid 70's which is seasonal for this time of year, along with slight mugginess. Still expecting to see more clouds build in so going with partly cloudy and light winds back to the southwest. For the rest of the forecast daytime temperatures will only get hotter. Thursday expected to top out near 102 degrees with mostly sunny skies and winds now to the southeast. As the high continues to build across the midwest so do temps. Friday, looks to be the peak of the triple digits near 103 degrees and sunny skies. From here temps will drop a few degrees but staying above 100 for the rest of the forecast as we go into the weekend and the next work week. Saturday near 101, 100 for Sunday and Monday increasing back to 101 for Tuesday.
