Wall Football Remains Unbeaten 10-07-13

Some of the area football teams that are unbeaten are in new territory, that's not the case with the Wall Hawks, they've been here before and are comfortable being a top the mountain.
Some of the area football teams that are unbeaten are in new territory, that's not the case with the Wall Hawks, they've been here before and are comfortable being a top the mountain. The Hawks are off to a 6 and oh start, the last two wins have been in the district. That's where it really counts as far as post-season positioning goes. The problem is that Wall has made it appear so easy, that you wonder if they'll let someone sneek up on 'em. They say that won't happen.

Boyd Henry, SR LG: "We've had a pretty good start to the season and we try to stay focused every week, try not to take anybody lightly."

Brent Matschek, SR RB: "Some teams are stronger than others but we know we can't take anyone for granted, we have to come out and play every game, we can't look past any team."

Houston Guy, Head Coach: "We're going to get up for Bangs like we got up for Grape Creek, like we got up for Sonora. We hammer on our kids each week about staying focused and not taking an opponent lightly."
