The sixth annual Shannon Pink Ribbon Run was held Saturday morning in downtown San Angelo. The event goes to raise funds for breast cancer programs at Shannon Women's Imaging Center. The event included a 5K and 10K run and a 1 mile fun run and walk. Last year's event had more than 1,000 participants making it the largest road race in San Angelo history. This year a new chip timing system was added to accurately capture race times and results.
