Nov. 2013 Amendment & Bond Election Results

Concho Valley voters approved all nine constitutional amendments on Tuesday, but voted down both Wall and Veribest bonds.
Across Texas for the first time, voters had to present an official photo ID to vote in Tuesday's election.

All state propositions were approved, including Proposition 6, to establish a state water fund.

The total number of Tom Green County voters in yesterday's election: 6,251.

In Wall, a $21.5 million bond election to fund a new elementary school, practice gym and high school renovation did not pass.

Just over 44-percent of voters were for the bond and the majority -- almost 66-percent -- were against it.

Voters in Veribest also voted against approval of their school district's bond election. The $5.9 million bond was to increase student capacity. The Veribest superintendent says they're turning away as many as 50 students annually.

Just 11-percent of the voters were for the Veribest bond election, while 89-percent were against it.
