Local Minister Writes Children's Book

ASU Alumni and Katalyst Ministries Founder, Kevin Kirkland writes christian children's book.
Angelo State University Alumni and Katalyst Ministries Founder, Kevin Kirkland is an established author and has written his first children's book. The book is a Christian story based on "The Little Engine that Could" titled, "The Little Engine That Could Not: A Triumph of Grace" The book is the first of its kind to be published by the company Frog Street Press which publishes early childhood educational books. Kirkland's book was illustrated by established illustrator Lisa Workman of Workman Studios who has worked for licensed properties such as Strawberry Shortcake and Holly Hobbie and Friends. "The Little Engine That Could Not: A Triumph of Grace" will be released December 22, 2013 at a book signing and release event to take place at Paulann Baptist Church after all three Sunday services in San Angelo.
