Afternoon weather forecast for Monday, October 7, 2013.

After a much cooler weekend, the Concho Valley will spend this work week gradually warming back above average. By this afternoon expecting winds to switch to the east-northeast 5 to 10 miles per hour as daytime highs warm into the mid 80's. Skies will stay clear all throughout the afternoon and into the evening as winds die down again, giving a chilly start to Tuesday. Low could drop into the upper 40's once again with very light winds from the south-southeast 0 to 5 miles per hour. By Tuesday afternoon those breezy south winds return to assist in the warmer trend with highs near 86 degrees. Winds could been seen between 15 and 20 miles per hour. For the rest of the week expect temps to stay in the mid to upper 80's through Friday. By the weekend looking for another system of low pressure to change up the forecast, making for slightly cooler days and an increase of cloud cover.
