Once again the Concho Valley will be watching for potential thunderstorms to form this afternoon. Gulf moisture still making it's way into the area but moving farther and farther west as high pressure moves back into the state. Temperatures today expected to reach near 94 degrees with partly sunny skies. Winds fairly breezy as well from the east-southeast 10 to 15 miles per hour. Overnight, skies will stay mainly partly cloudy and comfortable around 67 degrees, muggy will return as dew points stay in the mid 60's. Friday looks about the same, but instead of watching for storms from the south, will be watching from the north. Very weak cold front moves in making way for east winds , this could allow enough lift to form a storm or two. Saturday and Sunday for the most part looks to stay dry as temps stay in the low to mid 90's with mostly sunny skies. But these conditions will not last long. By the next work week what's left of a tropical system will make it's way through the gulf and into Mexico. This could bring even more gulf moisture into the Concho Valley given off even more thunderstorms through next wednesday.
