The Concho valley staying fairly warm to start off the month of September. This afternoon looking for mostly sunny skies and light winds from the southeast 5 to 10 miles per hour. All allowing for another day in the upper 90's near the triple digit mark. This due in part of high pressure that has asserted it's self over the region, but it won't be lasting long. As we make our way into Friday, the system will start to shift east and decrease intensity allowing for slightly cooler conditions. The position of the high could give us some isolated thunderstorms. Best chances are to the north across the big country but even then chances are very slim around 10% of a chance. Tonight will be nearly seasonal with partly cloudy skies and a low near 71 degrees. By Friday afternoon, looking for cooler temps near 96 degrees and decreasing each day into the weekend. Saturday and Sunday look to be fairly similar with mostly sunny skies and highs near 95 degrees. Staying in the mid 90's through the start of the work week.
