Hirschfeld Industries lands largest project to date.
Hirschfeld Industries is the largest steel manufactoring plant in the US with 8 bridge manufactoring plants across the southeast. Four of those plants are based in San Angelo, TX fabricating 50 percent of all steel structures produced by Hirschfeld. Hirschfeld's latest venture includes a partnership with another steel production company to fabricate 50 percent of the steel structures which will be used to construct the New NY Bridge formally the Tappa Zee Bridge in New York state. Although the fabrication of the structures will be produced in the East Coast plants on Hirschfeld this large fabrication contract will benefit Hirschfeld Industries as a whole.
