At the pep rally this morning, dozens packed the gym to encourage and support the team.
One proud father, Willie Aguirre, of a football player told just how excited he and his family are.
"We're celebrating something so spectacular and awesome. I'm just...It's hard to even say the words. But, I'm just so very proud and happy that these boys have something so special," stated Aguirre.
Hawk's Assistant Coach is feeling confident the team will win.
"We're going to play for a state championship against Cameron Yoe and we're going to win a state championship against Cameron Yoe," declared Coach Rob Londerholm.
While Wednesday's pep rally was put together on a short notice, the fans did not mind. Elementary school students could be seen holding signs saying 'We believe'.
Santa Clause even made a special appearance at the event. Coaches sat on his lap and told how all they wanted for Christmas was to 'win state'.
Aguirre has a message for his son and his team.
"I always say, 'set your goals and get to it. Get it done'," continued Aguirre.
The Wall Hawks have a send off scheduled for 2 p.m. today. Watch the memorable event tonight at 6 p.m. on KLST and KSAN.
