Texas voters may vote at any early voting location in the same county as their voter registration. The statewide ballot consists of nine proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Of the nine, many may find Proposition Six of high interest.
Proposition Six pertains to the creation of the state water implementation fund for Texas and the state water implementation revenue fund for Texas to assist in the financing of priority projects in the state water plan to ensure the availability of adequate water resources.
You will also have the opportunity to vote for or against future bonds in Tom Green County. The issuance of an almost $6 million (M) bond for Veribest ISD and the issuance of a $21 million (M) bond for Wall will also be on the ballot. For further information on the ballot visit votetexas.gov.
This will be the first statewide election with the photo ID requirement in effect for in-person voting.
