Double Homicide Investigation Continues

After an ongoing double homicide investigation, San Angelo Police Department SWAT Team members found the suspect dead inside his residence Saturday afternoon.

The SAPD SWAT team attempted to arrest alleged suspect, 25-year-old Jessie Fitchett, at his residence in the 100 Block of West 8th Street around 12 p.m. Saturday.

After several attempts, Fitchett refused to exit the home. According to officials, upon entry SWAT team members located Fitchett dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Earlier Saturday morning, Fitchett allegedly shot and killed two men, and injured a third just outside Richard's Bar located in the 1200 Block of Martin Luther King.

The deceased victims have been identified as 23-year-old Eli Delrio and 20-year-old Raul Rodriguez, both San Angelo residents.

According to officials, the third victim, a local 61-year-old man, was shot in the leg but remains in stable condition.

The circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting remains unclear. This is an ongoing investigation.
