Jeff: "Every year the Wall Hawks are one of the top teams to watch in the Conch Valley. As head coach Houston Guy explains having a deep talent pool to chose from makes his life a little less hectic."
Houston Guy: "It puts your mind at ease if you're the head football coach. You look down there and you have a lot of talent coming up. When you're junior high teams are going undefeated and your J.V.'s are going undefeated and your freshman team is undefeated you can see the talent pool getting better and better."
Jeff: "The Hawks offensive rushing attack is one of the best there is in the state. Even after replacing four offensive linemen from last season, coach Guy is confident the Hawks running game will continue to dominate."
Guy: "We graduated four of the five offensive linemen starting off. We have some really great back-ups that are going to jump in and we are going to pick up where we left off."
Jeff: "Wall fell just shy of winning it all in 2013 and there is no doubt about it the Hawks expect to be back in AT&T Stadium come December."
Clay Braden: "We have a lot of returning starters and we all have that feeling. We want to get back there because there is something we left there."
Brock Pettiet: "I definatly feel like a couple of players that are younger than us have definatly stepped up to fill those positions and we have the ability to get back to where we were."
Jeff: "Being so close to a state title just eight months ago gave the Hawks all the motivation they need to get back to Arlington."
Guy: "When that game was over with they had a mindset to get back here. The work that they put in in the spring and the summer was really better than they ever had." I think that they truly believe that they have a shot to get back there. They really put in the time."
