Special Needs Basketball Game

A heart warming event today brings community members and friends together to support the special education programs of our local schools.
A HEART WARMING EVENT TODAY BRINGS COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS TOGETHER TO SUPPORT THE SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS OF OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS.
OVER 30 STUDENTS FROM LAKE VIEW - CENTRAL - AND LINCOLN COMPETED IN THE SPECIAL NEEDS BASKETBALL COMPETITION AT LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL THIS MORNING.... THE PROJECT WAS STARTED FIVE YEARS AGO - AND CONTINUES - ENCOURAGING STUDENTS AGES SIX THROUGH 21 TO COMPETE IN TARGET PASSING - SHOOTING DRILLS - AND A DRIBBLING COMPETITION.
  PARTICIPANTS WERE AWARDED WITH T-SHIRTS AND MEDALS DURING THE COMPETITION.... THE NEXT SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM WILL BE HELD IN APRIL WHEN THE STUDENTS CAN COMPETE ON THE TRACK.
