Jeff: "The San Angelo Bandits have done what every team sitting at the bottom wishes they could do. The Bandits went from a cellar dwelling 1-11 team in 2013 to a 9-4 Lone Star Football League title winner in 12 months time. Needless to say, it was a long time coming."
Lemann Casimeir: "It's been a long time. It's been a long journey that we had ahead of us. For it to pay off the way it did, us as champions, it's a great feeling."
Jeff: "For the Bandits, falling short of an LSFL title was unacceptable as the pressure was on from those who sit in the stands."
Luke Collis: "I know San Angelo doesn't accept losers very well. Hopefully we'll keep getting more support next year."
Jeff: "For defensive tackle Avery Rigg and linebacker Austin Benson, winning a title for the fans of San Angelo dates back to their college playing days at Angelo State."
Avery Rigg: "From being a part of the Rams and coming on with my brother A.B. we've been Ram Fam as long as I can remember. Since I've been here in Angelo, I was welcomed in and being welcomed with this team is just awesome."
Jeff: "During halftime of the West Texas Final, Bandits Head Coach Joe Brannen was named LSFL Coach of the Year. A humble Brannen gave all of the credit to his players."
Joe Brannen: "I just love these guys. They just fought so hard from day one. We cam into town March 1st and they went to work right away with this goal in mind and followed our motto all year. 1-0 each week. It worked out for us. You have to give all of the credit to these guys right behind me. It was a fantastic season on their part."
