Former San Angelo ISD Athletic Director Doug McCutchen is remembered each June with the playing of the Positive Impact Golf Tournament, it's a memorial event in his name that helps SAISD athletics. Monday was this years event at Bentwood Country Club where coaches, athletes, and friends took to the course. One year ago they had 14 teams, this time around 21 teams of 4 players each entered. At the 9th hole, Davis Corely was faced with about a 30 foot put. He grew up in Bronte with Doug McCutchen, and coach McCutchen would have been proud the put, as Corely dropped the 30 footer right in the cup.
