A San Angelo man is dead after loosing control of his motorcycle while traveling on W. Loop 306
Just after 1 AM Sunday, San Angelo Police Officers responded to the 4100 block of West Loop 306 for the report of a major crash involving a motorcycle. The driver, identified as 36 year old San Angelo resident Christopher Perez, was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Kay Longest. The accident occurred when Perez was traveling on Loop 306 near Dessert Shadows Apartments when he lost control of his 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle causing it to leave the road way and strike a guardrail. Perez was ejected from the bike which continued across the loop between medians before coming to a stop near the Lowes Home Improvement Store. Police did not locate a helmet at the scene and speed was determined to be a contributing factor in the crash.
