NWS Issues "Fire Weather Watch"

The National Weather Service issued a "Fire Weather Watch" for Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Irion, Reagan, and Tom Green Counties. The weather watch will take effect Thursday from noon to 6 p.m.
Due to the continuous drought and dry weather conditions, Commissioners approved a burn ban that went into effect Wednesday morning.
