A nation-wide movement brought nearly 800 people to the McNease Convention Center early Thursday morning to join hands in prayer.

This was the 20th year of the National Prayer Breakfast to be help in San Angelo.

Every year, Americans gather to pray for our nation and our nations leaders while  enjoying a continental breakfast.

This year, the Keynote Speaker of the event was Julie Ziglar Norman, daughter of Zig Ziglar, and American motivational speaker.

National Prayer Breakfast started in Washington D.C. in 1953. This year, our nations leaders met and focused on bipartisanship at home and ending extreme poverty abroad.
