Warm and windy will once again be the story weather-wise across the Concho Valley. Yesterday topping out at 95 will get cut short today by about a single degree, near 96. Windy wills get breezy once again from the southeast 15 to 20 miles per hour. The main driving force for the above average temperatures is high pressure over the west. That will continue to move into west Texas becoming centered over the Permian Basin later today. West of the Concho Valley will see triple digits with our chance by tomorrow as conditions flirt with the century mark. Wednesday only looks to top out at 99 but don't be surprised if some places break into the triple digits. Conditions will continue to warm through the middle of the work week reaching 100 by Thursday then dipping slightly back into the upper 90's. The ridge of high pressure could start to break down just in time for the weekend allowing low pressure to push south and bring a cold front along with it. This may also be out next chance for scattered showers, but for now looking to stay dry with temps at least dropping into the lower 90's.
