Winds will be one of the main factors to watch for all afternoon, along with much warmer conditions. The Concho Valley will jump from nearly seasonal yesterday to above average today with highs near the upper 80's. Winds will stay stead between 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 throughout the day as it slowly switches to the northwest by late tonight/early tomorrow morning. That's where we expect to find the cold front push through allowing winds to slowly decrease and become much more mild overnight. Partly cloudy skies along the front will keep lows above freezing, but not by much only reaching the upper 30's. By Wednesday look for light winds out of the east-northeast 5 to 10 with mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid 60's. Conditions quickly rebound back to the upper 70's for Thursday with more 80's in store for Friday. Again that's where we expect to see our next cold front, this one dropping conditions to the 70's for Saturday and the low to upper 60's Sunday and Monday with extra cloud cover, along with a hit at possible showers but once again the moisture looks to stay well off to our east.
