Those SW winds are what's keeping temperatures much warmer this morning. Will watch for them to subside and start to switch allowing for lows around the mid 60's by the time you head out for school or work. Cloud cover and all chances for showers continue to push east making for a calmer afternoon across the Concho Valley. Slightly cooler today with highs in the upper 80's, but the winds will increase once again as a dry cold front pushes through switching up to the north-northeast 15 to 20 mph. Tonight mostly clear skies and calmer winds will help drop lows back to the mid 50's which is much closer to normal this time of year. Warmer again by Friday as south winds help increase moisture levels as well. Saturday will bring our next round of potential thunderstorms as another dryline will form to the west and push east into the region. This is a very similar setup from yesterday, but an increase possibility for stronger storms. Right now chances remain at 20% increasing to 40 overnight. But just like we're seeing today, by Sunday a dry cold front will pass through bringing cooler and mild conditions. Expecting near 87 to start off the next work week, with a cooler trend into the mid 70's by Wednesday.
