Watch for these winds all afternoon long even picking up pace anywhere between 15 and 25 with gusts up to 35 possible. At the same time temperatures will jump up from the mid 50's yesterday to the low 70's today, above average for this time of year. All these conditions to bring a down side. Low humidity and high winds will increase fire dangers throughout the region. The National Weather service is set to initiate a Red Flag Warning for Tom Green, Reagan, Sterling, Coke, Runnels and Irion Counties from Noon today till 5:00pm. Despite that, if you think today is great, tomorrow will be even better, after the freezing start this week Friday will bring lighter winds and warmer temps in the upper 70's. That's where mother nature fights back and send another cold front through the area just in time for Saturday morning. Watch for milder conditions as winds start to shift and temperatures only reach the mid to upper 60's. Most of the effect will be felt Sunday as much colder air keeps us from warming any higher than the upper 30's. This front also brings an increase amount of cloud cover thanks to an increase of moisture. Watch for mostly cloudy skies by Sunday and Monday. This will also be our next shot for any type of showers, right now standing at 20% through Tuesday. Temperatures will stay mild near 47 on Monday, 51 Tuesday and 44 Wednesday.
