The warming trend looks to maximizing out today as high pressure towards the west retreats a little. This allows for a trough of low pressure to push it's way through the north and send a cold front through the lone star state. Not only does this mean slightly cooler temperatures but breezy winds for the next couple of days. Overnight lows will drop to the low 70's once again as winds stay breezy around the 15 to 20 miles per hour range. Tomorrow afternoon is expected to reach near 95 with mostly sunny skies and still breezy. As that front passes temps will drop to near 94 on Wednesday and 93 Thursday, but staying dry. Most of the moisture will be to the north and west of the Concho Valley with a very slight chance of moving into our area by Thursday. Again scattered to isolated storms so most of the region will stay dry, making for a really nice fourth of July holiday. Slightly warmer as high pressure moves back into west texas so expect temperatures near 95 with mostly sunny skies, lasting through the weekend.
