Showers and thunderstorms moved throughout the area last night making for some well needed rainfall. Yesterday brought nearly 0.2" of rain starting off April on a good note. We're still well behind the yearly average so far, but making ground. Watch for much more mild conditions throughout today with another round of isolated to scattered thunderstorms after 1pm. Tonight storms will subside as temperatures cool back down to the 40's with partly cloudy skies. For the rest of the week watch for much warmer conditions as we gradually climb back to the 70's for tomorrow and into the 80's for Wednesday. Thursday will see a dry line pass through making for temperatures near the 90 degree mark. Slightly cooler for the weekend as we watch for the next cold front and possible showers and thunderstorms for next Sunday.
