For the fifth day this week, warm, windy and muggy conditions will persist in the Concho Valley. High pressure lingers around the area helping to bring in gulf moisture into the area. Dew points in the 60's are expected through today, but even though it make for a muggy day it's also helping to keep temperatures from the triple digit mark. Again yesterday high temps in the afternoon only reached the mid to upper 90's. Expecting to see this once again today with mostly sunny skies and breezy south-southeast winds. Going into the weekend high pressure starts to break down making way to cooler conditions by Sunday. Saturday staying warm near 98 degrees dropping to near 94 Sunday with partly sunny skies. This along with a slowly moving front pushing south will bring an increase chance for showers and thunderstorms. Better chances are Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. Low 90's stick around through Tuesday, before we quickly warm back up into the upper 90's next Wednesday and Thursday.
