With high pressure sitting off to the west helping with a much warmer trend across the Concho Valley. It's also bringing a few weak cold fronts right through the region. The first one hits today bringing breezy winds and slightly cooler temperatures. Mostly sunny skies with highs near 73 degrees and winds out of the northeast 15 to 20 miles per hour. Winds calm down tonight allowing for a low in the upper 30's, then jumping back to the 80's for the weekend. For Sunday we're watching for records breaking conditions back to the 80's. 88 is the forecast high and 87 is the record. Monday will see the second weak front dropping highs back to the upper 70's. But as that ridge of high pressure to the west sticks around the temperatures will stay in the 80's with a possible cool down by the next weekend.
