Hometown Hero: Frank Tambunga

Every week, we choose a man or woman who embodies a Good Samaritan, is a leader in our community, and is a good example for our young people.

This week's Hometown Hero is Frank Tambunga. After serving 22 years in the Marines, some of which he was active duty in the Desert Storm, he retired as a Gunny Staff Sergeant. Now, he is an active veteran in the Ozona community and even a Crockett County Commissioner for Precinct One.

Tambunga and his wife, Irma, have been married for 28-years and they have four children, Manuel, Michelle, Roman, and Noah.

Frank Tambunga, thanks for being our Hometown Hero.
