Eric Henrikson hosts Concho Valley Live weekdays at 4:00pm.
Eric joined the KLST news team in 2011 as a news photographer and has since then worked in nearly every position in the building. He was promoted to producer of Concho Valley Live in August of 2011 when the show was created and has been with the show ever since serving as the talent scout, producer, reporter, and now host.
Having moved here in 2000, Eric considers himself a San Angelo native. He attended Bonham Elementary School, Lee Middle School, and Central High School. In 2010, he graduated with a degree in Communication from Angelo State University. His family currently lives in San Angelo. His father a musician and martial arts instructor, his mother a Nurse Practitioner at the Walk-In-Clinic at WTMA, his brother a medical assistant, and his sister a nursing student.
Besides Eric’s hosting duties, he also serves as KLST’s news promotions producer. In this capacity he writes, shoots, and edits promotions for KLST and KSAN news as well as creates the graphics and effects for both stations. He also works behind the scenes producing and/or directing local events such as the Children’s Miracle Network telethon, Pat Attebery’s Christmas at Old Fort Concho Special, and the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Day Parade.
Eric’s past times include producing short films, writing screenplays, reading comics and novels, watching movies at the local theater, and avoiding outdoor activity.
