Over 100 participants were out at the San Angelo Gun Club Shooting Range for the third annual "Daughters at the Range."
Over 100 young girls had the chance to get behind the barrel of a gun and practice their aim at the third annual Daughters at the Range. 144 were registered for today's event, held at the San Angelo Gun Club Shooting Range --a free introduction to shooting sports and firearm safety is the basis of daughters at the range.
Firearms, ammo, and safety gear are provided for the girls and instruction today was given by NRA instructors, military personnel, and civilians with firearm training.
The organizer of Daughters at the Range believes this event can alleviate the fear of guns, and we spoke with a young participant about her favorite part of pulling the trigger.
